Hilary Duff tells Rachel Ray she sometimes leaps to the defense of her boyfriend Mike Comrie while attending the New York Islander star’s games. “I like to sit in the audience, you know I don’t sit up in a box or anything, and people started to know that I’m sitting there, and they’ll be like ‘Mike sucks!’ Or [they] try to rile me up,” Duff said on Rachael’s talk show. “And I’m like, ‘Hey, watch it! I’ll come up there, you know.’ … I try to not be that crazy girlfriend.”
Duff also was asked about being dissed by veteran actress Fay Dunaway, who turned her nose up at the 21-year-old reprising Dunaway’s role as Bonnie Parker in ‘The Story of Bonnie and Clyde’. “Obviously it was a little hurtful,” Duff said. “She said she wished they’d gotten a real actress to play the part. Especially in this day and age.” Watch it below.

Hilary Duff talked about her participation in A Night To Make A Difference on Oscar Night at Mr. Chow on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, an event to benefit the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and Olivia Newton-Johns Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal.
“It’s such a great opportunity for young actors or artists that you have a cause that they believe in and a vision for how they can change the world,” Duff says in a promo clip. “Getting to all be in one room, one special night. Do interviews and raise the awareness. Let the public know what each one of us has going on, just all about our charities. It’s hugely creative and we need it. The world needs it right now, so way to go Leeza.”

Hilary Duff spoke with E! News about a Faye Dunaway’s recent comment to the Chicago Sun-Times after the 68-year-old learned Duff was to reprise her role in a remake of the 1967 film ‘The Story of Bonnie and Clyde’.
“Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress,” Dunaway asked. In response, Duff alluded to Faye’s apparent cosmetic surgery. “I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know, uh, I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too,” Duff said.
