Before hitting the stage, James Morrison tells The Sun he has an ancient Chinese secret to keep his voice in tact before hitting the stage. “I have this juice called Loquat. It’s a bit like honey and is supposed to be really good for your vocal chords,” the singer songwriter explained. “But I’ve also got these weird Chinese pills where apparently they scrape fungus from a caterpillar larva and them process it in a lab. I swear to God.”

James Morrison headed over to Ireland recently to attend the 9th Annual Meteor Music Awards where, as well as performing, he collected the coveted award for ‘Best International Male’. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and James Morrison are never seen in the same room at the same time. ITN asked Morrison to tell the truth – is he really Chris Martin? “I can see why,” James admitted of the comparisons, “because I do see it myself.” Morrison added that Martin “has more of a man jaw than me.”
