According to the National Enquirer, ’ sister Jamie Lynn is being encouraged by their mother Lynne to move in together as Lynne attempts to get her youngest daughter to distance herself from James Watson and restart her acting career. Lynne isn’t happy with Jamie Lynne, 18, dating 28-year-old James. “Lynne is very unhappy about Jamie Lynne’s relationship with James,” a source told the tabloid. “She thinks he’s too old for Jamie Lynn and has nothing to offer her.”

OK! magazine reports ' ex-husband Kevin Federline reached out and her mother Lynne as they faced scrutiny over the 16-year-old 'Zoey 101' star's shocking announcement that she's pregnant. "Kevin has long thought of Jamie Lynn as a little sister," a Federline family member told the mag. The source added that K-Fed spoke with Lynne before the pregnancy announcement and "was heartbroken because he was concerned about what it would mean for Jamie Lynn's future... He just wants to be part of the support system."

Meanwhile, a source close to the Spears family is speaking out in defense of embattled Lynne. "Jamie Lynn loves her mom dearly," the insider insisted to OK!. "She thinks Lynne has been a sensational mom and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. Lynne never pushed Jamie Lynn into growing up too fast and never pushed her into working."
