Janelle Monae Checks In Before ‘The Chase’ Album Release

Janelle Monáe posted the following bulletin to fans on her Myspace on Thursday (August 23):

Hello Cyberworld,

I hope all is well in your house.

I will have my first official in-store CD signing next Thursday August 23, 2007 from 7-9pm @ Criminal Records (466 Moreland Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307)!

I will be, of course, meeting and greeting, signing lots of CD’s, giving hugs and maybe kisses?, and singing some random songs from my debut release “The Chase”. :-)

I have allowed Criminal Records to hold some Metropolis, Suite I of IV: “The Chase” CD’s in their lovely store and allow my true supporters to purchase them before the 24th of August (Its proper release date).

So, with all that said, you might want to come and be one of the first to purchase a physical copy of “The Chase”!

I plan to have lots of fun this weekend and I hope to share it with you! :-)
