My adventures began with Fashion Week in NY. I saw some great shows from Rosa Cha, Badgley Mischka and of course my friends at Heatherette. From there 30 of my guy friends from Orlando took a Mancation – lol. We went to New Orleans to route for Jeff Faine of the New Orleans Saints. First game back at the Superdome. Pretty Amazing. Now I’m fighting a fever in Atlanta. I came to hang with my friend Dallas Austin but I’ve been cooped up in my hotel with chicken noodle soup. After this it’s back to L.A.”

Former *NSYNC star JC Chasez spoke with OK! magazine about his upcoming sophomore album, which he called “intelligent pop music.” Chasez said the track ‘Satellite’ is a metaphor about “two people who are basically satellites orbiting the earth. Imagine staring at someone from a distance, wanting them and never being able to reach them.”
In an interview with MTV News, JC Chasez had nothing but glowing reviews for former *NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake’s upcoming LP, ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’, due Tuesday (September 12). “He has a phenomenal record coming out,” Chasez said. “Obviously, he’s one of my best friends. But ‘SexyBack’ is a brand-new sound for him, and it’s opened up a lot of minds. The safe route would have been to make another record like the last one, because it was so successful. But I like the fact that he said, ‘No. I’m going to be artistic. I am going to change my sound,’ because that’s what he was inspired to do.” Read more.
The night before the VMAs, While attending a MTV event, Damian Kulash and Tim Nordwind from OK Go ran into former *NSYNC star JC Chasez in the bathroom, who provided the pair tips for their performance tonight.
Asked if everything went perfect for *NSYNC’s ‘Bye Bye Bye’ performance, he said, “That’s what everybody thinks. There’s always going to be something in a performance where you’re gonna be like arg. You know what, I don’t even remember (what went wrong). The other thing is, when you’re up there, it happens fast man. It’s like a blur.”
JC added, “When you’re out there, I know it’s nerve-wracking. You’re on the stage and you’re staring at your peers. The people you really want to focus on are your fans. They always have a group of them in the pit. The best part is MTV is kind enough to tell them cheer or die. They’ll cheer anybody. So you’re like yeah, you guys really like me. Then you get off the stage and they’re like god, I wish Snoop was here.”
Chasez added that the camera is more important than the audience. “You’ve got to remember that when you watch the show, at home, you realize the bands are playing the crowd, and there’s 10,000 people there at the show and you’re working your best to play them, but remember there’s like 20-30 million at home.”

I know he’s been kind of caged as a hip-hop producer, but his music taste goes well beyond that,” Chasez explained. “I think that’s what makes his music so interesting. He’s not just a beat maker. The guy does think outside the box, and it’s because he’s a cultured musician.”
