Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have filed a lawsuit against Silver Cross Ltd, the makers of a baby carriage, to the tune of $30 million. The couple claimed that paparazzi photos featuring J.Lo and Marc using a Silver Cross Balmoral Pram Carriage stroller for their twins helped sell the product on the company’s web site and “in various print and electronic media and newsletters.” Check out more details from Access Hollywood.
Jennifer Lopez tells Women’s Wear Daily that the current global economic crisis won’t discourage her from dressing up, and given her clothing line, she probably hopes that others will follow her example. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with playing dress up right now,” J.Lo told the publication. “Who wouldn’t want to wear borrowed dresses and borrowed jewelery? I think you can get criticized if you’re wearing borrowed dresses now because it’s borrowed, and I think you can get criticized for if it’s not because you bought it during the current economy.”
Jennifer Lopez made an effort to stop speculation about her marriage to Marc Anthony at the Western Inaugural Ball on Tuesday evening. After Anthony had “my wife” join him on stage, the pair kissed, then sang a Spanish ballad in front of guests. Watch a report from ITN, featuring highlights from the evening, below.
David Archuleta updated fans on his blog at MySpace on Tuesday (January 20), talking about a busy week that included a Hard Rock Cafe show in New York City, a Radio Disney appearance, performing at Sundance, and heading to Washington, DC for the presidential inauguration. The ‘American Idol’ season seven runner-up tells readers:
I then flew out to DC to sing the National Anthem at a Latino Gala event on Sunday, one of the events going on for the week of the inauguration. Some of the performers were War, Paulina Rubio, Alejandro Sanz, and Marc Anthony, and I really enjoyed watching them. I got a chance to talk to Jennifer and Marc, and they were some of the coolest people I have ever met! It’s awesome because my mom is a huge fan of both of them, and they’re both incredibly talented. I love meeting people who are really well known and stuff, and you expect them to act all big and important, when they are some of the most down-to-earth cool people you’ve ever met haha. That’s how they were, and I really respected them for that. And I hope I can sing like Marc when I’m older.
So another thing I got to do was go the the Museum of Natural History in DC, which I LOVED! I’m such a fan of things like museums lol. And there was so much to look at there. They had a lot of prehistoric animal skeletons to look at, and I got some pictures so I’ll load those up. But seriously, if you live in that area you need to go that museum! It’s a lot of fun. Well, at least if you like museums it’s fun.
