JoJo checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Wednesday (June 10), revealing songs on the web claiming to be from her upcoming third album will not be on the long delayed CD. The 18-year-old writes:

Someone brought it to my attention that there are three songs floating around that people are claiming is a part of an “All I Want is Everything” album sampler. These songs are NOT ON THE ALBUM nor do they represent the sound or direction of this record. We are only considering one of those songs for the final finished product. Its just a bit frustrating when there has been such a long wait for new material, and then things that I wouldn’t have put out somehow get out. I’ve also seen fake “tracklistings” floating around. These listings are completely inaccurate and i have absolutely no idea who created them. Once the official tracks for the album are chosen, you will be the first to know!

JoJo checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (April 27). The 18-year-old singer writes:

I’m NOT putting my career on hold, nor my education. I am still working on the album, waiting for Blackground’s new deal to get finalized, getting ready to put a new single/video/album out, etc… and also…. getting ready for college! I’ll keep you posted on my decision :)

I’M VERY EXCITED FOR THIS NEW CHALLENGE AND ENDEAVOR…

JoJo posted a light night a capella performance of ‘Untitled (How Does It Feel)’ from her bedroom before taking off her makeup and hitting the sack. JoJo is set to release her third studio album later this year.

The video at MySpace has since been removed.

JoJo updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Tuesday (February 3), discussing her frustration with delays in getting her new music out, books she’s been reading, and offered a salad recipe. The 18-year-old tells readers:

I’m writing this to vent a bit… Perhaps I’m a bit overzealous to release the new material that I’ve recorded out as the process of waiting becomes increasingly agitating by the week. Friends, family, folks I meet on the street have been asking me “When are you coming out with something new?” And unfortunately, I don’t have a concrete answer. And then there’s my favorite question- “Are you DOING anything?” Lol… yes. I promise I don’t sit around on my sofa in sweatpants all day. Although I’m not on tv, magazines, radio right now – I’m still working below the radar putting the new songs together and get things ready. I do my part and will energetically and enthusiastically continue to do so- but its also very much so up to the other people involved in the behind-the-scenes aspect of my project. Its frustrating and inauspicious to feel out of control in certain areas of life, but I ultimately I believe that everything happens for a reason and will serve as a learning experience. I think that when things don’t go down exactly the way you envisioned them happening, there is a purpose behind it.

Though JoJo’s Wikipedia page indicates the pop singer’s third album will be titled ‘All I Want Is Everything’ and that a song with the same name is confirmed to be included on the disc, while fan sites have posted track listings, the Boston teen tells fans on her MySpace blog that nothing has been determined yet. JoJo writes:

Just wanted to clear about a rumor I heard floating around that we have already chosen my first single. This is NOT TRUE. Since I am not finished recording my album, we have not decided on a single yet. Song titles that I have seen on a couple of fansites that are supposedly my album’s tracklisting are not correct. Those song titles are from songs recorded years ago, or songs that may or may not make the final cut, or songs that I have written with another artist in mind. When we choose a first single you will be the first to know! I can’t wait to get your opinion on the new official material. I think you’re gonna realllly like it :)

JoJo checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (January 5), wishing fans a Happy New Year and revealing progress on her third album. The Boston based pop singer tells readers:

I am still hard at work on my new album. It feels like a never ending process and to be honest, it frustrates me to not be on the road, not promoting, and not interacting with people in the way that i love to so much, but I am so confident that the finished product will be worth the wait. I am so pleased to be intrinsically involved in each song on this record thus far. It truly feels like a snapshot of my life and is very true to where I am as a young lady. A few weeks ago I spent about a week in the studio with Chad Hugo, Jim Beanz, and Kenna. It was SO much fun and I can’t wait for you to hear what we cooked up ;) They are really incredible and it was such a pleasure to create with them.
