A few days ago, Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys held his annual Healthy Heart Club charity golf tournament. Those in attendance got a surprise gift as the group’s manager Johnny Wright, Backstreet Boys AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson, and Brian’s son Baylee were also in attendance. Fans all noted that Brian made an effort to spend time with all in attendance. AJ was extremely goofy and kept everyone laughing. Kevin brought the Southern charm. Johnny told fans about what he’s setting up for the group in terms of touring, singles, appearances, etc. Near the end of the event, a few fans suddenly heard clips of new BSB music. They turned around and saw Kevin in his car, playing new tracks just for them including “Moving On” (penned by Howie, also the a capella song the group performed at Zootopia and Wango Tango), “Beautiful Woman” (the track that leaked), and Never Gone (a song Kevin wrote about his father who died of cancer).

The Backstreet Boys were guest hosts of Zootopia, the annual summer concert for New York radio station Z100. I have several video files of the group discussing the album, introducing artists like Avril Lavigne, and thanking the audience. When introducing Avril, Nick Carter playfully asked the audience if they like skater boys. Howie Dorough said they were 3/4 done with the album and it’d be out in August/September. Kevin Richardson talked about the song they were going to perform, which was written by Howie Dorough and Wade Robson. He also thanked the fans for all their support. The group got a great response from the crowd. Download the videos at the Backstreet Dirt Yahoo Group.

They plan to record 25 and then choose the songs that’ll make the album from that group. He wrapped it up by suggesting everyone give their mothers a colonoscopy for Mother’s Day (Kevin’s been doing a lot of work to promote colon cancer awareness). Pictures at have since been removed.
