The Sun reports Hear’Say are planning to announce today plans for a tour later this year, but nothing has been decided about disgruntled member Kym Marsh, who is reportedly plotting a solo career.

Since it’s from the Sun, their use of the word ‘official’ should be taken with a grain of salt, but the UK tabloid reports Kym met the rest of the group and manager Chris Herbert yesterday and told them she would not be returning. Polydor said there will be a statement over the weekend or on Monday to make it official.

Peoplenews.com reports Kym Marsh’s planned exit from UK pop band Hear’Say is on hold due to the band’s committed nine date tour in September. The band would have had to pay out over $5 million to break the tour arrangement so Kym will have to make up with rival Myleene Klass.

The Sun reports Kym Marsh who’s status with Hear’Say is currently in dispute purchased a wedding gown for around $9,000 for her upcoming wedding with EastEnder Jack Ryder. An insider said that during her stop at the store she was, “constantly on the phone to Jack, calling him ‘darling.’” The tab reports Kym expects to be free of her Hear-Say contract by Friday to pursue a solo career with her own band.

The Sun talked with an insider close to Hear’Say who explained the bitter and long time rivalry between female bandmate Myleene Klass was the primary reason behind Kym Marsh’s decision to ditch the band and go solo. Said the insider, “Myleene gets all the attention because of how she looks and she acts as the group’s unofficial leader. This drives Kym mad and she can’t understand it because she is actually a better a singer than Myleene. On the other hand, Myleene gets jealous because Kym gets all the best lines to sing. They are always rowing and they had a huge fight on Monday.”

An insider revealed, “Kym thought if they were going as a gesture to entertain the troops it would have been fair enough. When she found out they were going to take a BBC crew with them she thought it had been turned into a shameless publicity stunt.”
