Lance Bass tells GQ magazine in its November issue he reached out to Britney Spears during her moments of crisis, but the pop tart made no effort to respond. “I tried. I tried,” the former *NSYNC star explained. “She’s my neighbor in Beverly Hills. She lives next door. I tried to get in touch with her – I wanted to be that friend to help her. I don’t think she’s having any of her old friends anymore.”
The last time Bass was in contact with Spears was after her impulse 55-hour marriage to Jason Alexander in 2004, when the now openly gay singer shared a secret. “I felt bad for her,” Bass explained. “I knew she was about to go through a lot of crap. I felt the need to share something. So I sat her on my bed, and I’m like, ‘Well, I’m gay!'” Bass said Spears was shocked by the revelation.

“Just a friendly reminder that when you read websites like PerezHilton.com, you are reading lies and are being taken advantage of as you make more money for a person who does nothing but fabricate stories to make his site look interesting,” Lehmkuhl writes. “That anyone would trust someone like Mario Lavendeira (PerezHilton.com) who STEALS from photographers, bloggers, and the general population, is beyond me, really. This person is a common criminal. Contrary to what this ugly wind-bag has reported, I have not broken up with my boyfriend. I did not go home with anyone from ‘Survivor’ from any party. I have not ‘made out with’ anyone at a party while I have been with my boyfriend. The opposite has been written on his site. It is all a complete and blatant lie. This person is a liar. Period.”

Lol, no worries… I have no doubt things will work out. We are very mature and deal with things the right way. Thank you for all your concerns! It does mean a lot when so many of you are begging us to stay together! Just please don’t believe most the hype you read… like us opening up the relationship?! What the hell does that mean anyway? I mean I think I know what that means… And if it is.. Then the answer is def NO!”

The day after Lance’s People magazine cover story hit the newsstands, three thugs attacked six gay men in San Diego with a baseball bat and knife. About the same time, thugs in New Mexico began to use a gay 18-year-old they had tied up as a human punching bag, beating him until dawn. Though part of a newsworthy nationwide increase in anti-gay assaults, mainstream media ignored their stories.”

You want him to be OK and live his life. I think that a lot of the boy bands, and they date back, you know, a little ways, I think that they all sign up for a certain thing and – this might be me assuming too much – but I think that a lot of them buy into that illusion as well. Especially when you have to live it and it’s not who you really are. So I’m happy for him.”
