Billy Bush checked in on his YouTube channel with his first thought of the day, talking about Mariah Carey breaking news on his show that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child together. “I guess it’s not shocking that she’s pregnant, I think everyone had figured that out,” Bush said. “She’s 40 years old, never thought this was in her plan. Mariah Carey sat down with ‘Access Hollywood’ co-host Billy Bush at her home in New York City to reveal she’s pregnant. What fans may not have known was the road she traveled to get there, which was filled with both joy and heartache. “Honestly, I feel like we really learned a lot just as people,” Carey said about her first pregnancy with Cannon ending in a miscarriage. “It sort of was like more preparing us to do this, because the way it happened so quickly at first, and then I was sort of in shock, that I didn’t expect it, I didn’t know what to expect. When that happened and I wasn’t even able to talk to anyone about it, that was not okay. That was not easy.
