Mat Kearney checked in with his Twitter followers (@matkearney) with news about his Nashville home in wake of the area’s flooding over the weekend. The singer songwriter tells readers:
My house has 3 feet of water in the basement. Separating wet pictures. Nashville is a mess.
Nothing says love like pumping your neighbors basement juice.

Mat Kearney explored the streets of Austin, Texas while “making a fool of himself” prior to his show at La Zona Rosa on October 22nd. “This has been the most fun I’ve ever had on tour, hands down,” Mat says in the video. Watch the update via YouTube below.

Landing in a place. That roadtrip ended, and I landed with a group of musicians and people. Songs that deal with heartbreak and falling in love.
