Matt Wertz updated fans on his blog at MySpace on Wednesday (December 17), talking about how things have changed for him after signing to Universal Republic after releasing his prior music independently. The Nashville singer songwriter tells readers:
Making the jump to a major label has proven to be a big change that has come with both excitement and disappointment. I think we were all hoping that ’5:19′ would just explode over the airwaves and catapult me into some kind of other stratosphere of success. God obviously has something else in mind. With that said, I’m really excited for what 2009 has to offer – we are going to be pushing ‘Everything’s Right’ to radio as the next single, as well as producing a video for that song! If any of my songs are capable of making an impact at radio, ‘Everything’s Right’ could, so we’ll just have to wait and see!
