Former Busted star Matt Willis spoke with Popworld.com in a Q&A, where he was asked about his thoughts tied to titles of recent hit singles. For Mika’s ‘Love Today’, he was asked what is the state of love today. “By Americas standards with the school shooting that happened, things aren’t very loving are they? Can you believe that,” he asked. “It’s the same over here, though. Almost every day you open the newspaper and some kid had been stabbed. I just don’t know how people could bring themselves to do something like that. It’s just a different world to me; I don’t understand people who can do that. There’s not enough love today. Fu**, that was deep for me, wasn’t it?” Popworld.com has since shut down.

I don’t want to but there’s a couple of things telling me that I have to. I’m asthmatic and it didn’t used to bother me, but suddenly I’ve started using my inhaler a lot more.”
Popworld.com caught up with Matt Willis in a Q&A and asked the former Busted star, if he were “King of Popworld”, what would be his national anthem. “It’d be ‘Jump’ by Van Halen,” Willis responded. “I really like Van Halen, I’ve got massively into them in the past couple of years. ‘Jump’ is my favorite song now, it’s just so great, especially on a dance floor. I went to a wedding this weekend and it was the one song that everyone just went, ‘Ohhhh,’ until they played Busted actually and everyone went a bit mad at that as well. That was quite embarrassing for me, but still.”
The Sunday Mirror reports Matt Willis’ 18-year-old sister Amanda Sargeant screamed so much when he was crowned King of the Jungle on ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!’ that she burst her eardrum. “I just couldn’t stop screaming,” said Amanda, who has cerebral palsy. “I was so happy for Matt. My ear really hurts but I just couldn’t contain my joy.” The former Busted star phoned his parents on Saturday saying, “I can’t believe I’ve won.
