Meiko updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (July 10), talking about being in New York City and doing a remake of ‘All Of Me’ by Frank Sinatra. The singer songwriter tells readers:

I’m in New York City at the moment… Just woke up and thought I’d write you!) I just played three shows in a row here, and last night was the last one. They were great – I got to play two last-minute ones with my really good friend Joe Purdy, who is amazing!!!!

I’m staying at my friend’s apartment in the east village for a week, and I’m kinda falling in love with this city. New York used to scare the sh** outta me – but not this time…

So – would I ever move??? Hmmm – What do u like better, NY or LA?

Meiko updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Saturday (June 27), as the singer songwriter prepares to bring her act to the UK with Joshua Radin. Meiko writes:

And today is the day! I’m off to go play my first show ever in London! Woah! I couldn’t be more excited!

I’m trying to get my schedule somewhat in line with theirs – today – so… I just got up a 6am! Can you believe it? I can’t. Ok– It was 6:20. I arrive there in the morning and then I go straight to the radio station to do a live song… I think I’ll play ‘Under My Bed’. Busy times. Good times.

A lot of really awesome things have been going on- I just got off tour with Eric Hutchinson, (who is amazing live if you haven’t seen him yet! Do it!)
I’m going on my 1st ever UK tour with my home fry, Joshua Radin, and! I might be going to Guam to play a show at the end of July! What what!?

Meiko updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (June 15) while in St. Louis, the latest stop of her tour supporting Eric Hutchinson. The singer songwriter tells readers:

Every day we’ve had to get up pretty early and drive to the next town we’re playing… We had yesterday and today off – so we decided to spend it here! Couldn’t be happier! We were gonna go to Six Flags today, but the weather is looking a little like ass.

Tour’s been going really well, though… We’ve been opening up for Eric Hutchinson who is awesome!! It’s nice to get in front of huge crowds that have no idea who I am – and try to win them over… Very exciting!!

Meiko updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (May 29) while in San Francisco, the last date of her current tour leg. The former Hotel Cafe waitress writes:

I can’t wait… People always ask me if I ever get tired of touring and the answer is always NO. I’m in love with it. I like it better than waiting tables, that’s for sure – And! I get to see all kinds of cool places… Now the next step is Europe and Asia. That’s gonna be the shizzle.

Tired and hoping that American Airlines doesn’t loose my bag (again).

Tour is starting off with a caceled show and flight due to baseball sized hail and a tornado! Awesomee! Having a beer in Dallas…

Moving to a strawberry daiquiri…

Still waiting at the Dallas airport… 8 hours later… No luggage, and probably gonna start crying….
