Mel B Celebrates 15th Anniversary Of ‘Wannabe’ Release

checked in with fans on her YouTube channel to mark the ’ 15th anniversary of their first single ‘Wannabe’ being released. ‘Wannabe’ was by far the British girl group’s most successful single, reaching #1 in America, the UK, France, Germany and just about everywhere else.

“Hi to all the Spice Girls fans. First of all, I have to say a big, huge thank you for 15 years of Spice Girls support,” Mel B said. “Today , to the day, 15 years ago was when ‘Wannabe’ got released. Without you the fans, I wouldn’t be here in this hallway. So thank you, thank you, thank you for all the Spice Girls support. Melanie Brown Working On New Music From Home Studio

checked in with fans on her YouTube channel with a video from the backyard she shares with husband and movie producer Stephen Belafonte in Los Angeles on a sunny Friday (June 24). “It’s been a while since I said hi so I thought I’d say hi today,” the former Spice Girl said. “On a lovely, sunny Friday afternoon.” Mel then showed off her home studio and a fire pit.

“Yes it is true. I’m working on my music, especially for you,” Melanie said at the end of the video.

Melanie Brown Gets In Twitter War With Dan Wootton

got into a heated Twitter argument with News of the World gossip columnist Dan Wootton on Friday (June 24). Apparently Mel B wasn’t happy about some reporting on whether she’d replace Cheryl Cole on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’. The former Spice Girl will be a judge on the Australian version of ‘X Factor’. The Tweets included “butt hole” insults, accusations of homophobia, stalking and that Mel’s hubby Stephen Belafonte is the author of most of her Twitter messages. The pair write:

Dan (@danwootton): You have SERIOUS ISSUES Melanie. RT @OfficialMelB: @danwootton is a butt hole!!! That’s the word on the st anyway!!!

Mel B (@OfficialMelB): @danwootton your becoming a stalker, if you don’t like me STOP following me you weirdo!!!

Dan: @OfficialMelB Responding to you calling me a “butt hole”. That UK X Factor rejection has really got to you hasn’t it.

Dan: @OfficialMelB And I suppose it must be hard to be blanked so publicly by Victoria too.

and her husband Stephen Belafonte did a photo shoot and interview with News of the World to promote their new reality show ‘It’s A Scary World’. After describing how Stephen “crawls on top of her, breathing heavily, his hands mauling her thighs”, he was asked about prior claims that he and the star had sex five times a day. “Five times? Every single day? No. I’d be in a wheelchair,” Stephen said. “But the other weekend, I think we set a world record. She literally had me tapping out till I had nothing left. I was gonna set a sexual harassment charge on her. No bullsh**. And we did it on a flight over to London recently. I won’t say what airline cos I don’t wanna get us banned.”
