Top of the Pops spoke with Spice Girl Mel B about what she’s been up to and how things are with her daughter Phoenix Chi. Mel said, “The most important thing in my life is my child. It’s good to do TV because you can get a kind of routine, and my baby’s with me. Everything’s hunky dory, apples and pears, y’know, it’s all great!”

Sydney Morning Herald spoke with Spice Girl Melanie Brown about her latest gig as a performer in London’s Vagina Monologues. As for critics of the show, Scary Spice fumed, “If someone were to criticize it I find that a big insult. What are you talking about? Are you afraid of yours? Are you afraid of other women’s? And the money from the ticket sales goes to refugee camps and women’s groups. So for anybody to insult it is out of their mind, and deeply, deeply uneducated on many levels.” Read more.

The Sun reports Spice Girl Mel B has told them there’s no plans for a reunion tour anytime soon. “We haven’t got anything planned for at least a year, we are all too busy,” she said.

2dayuk reports Spice Girl Mel B is quitting pop music for a year to concentrate on her TV career. Mel revealed, “I will not be recording any music here because I’m not going to do anything music-wise for a year because I’m concentrating on TV.”
