According to Peoplenews.com, a man has been arrested in the Netherlands in connection with the death threats received last week by Sporty Spice Mel Chisholm. Mel C had been under 24-hour police protection after receiving sexually explicit threats mailed to her by tape, one of which stated “This is the day we’re both going to die.”

A spokesman for the Spice Girl said, “It’s been a very worrying time, but she can’t praise the police enough.”
