updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (February 27), talking about plans for her third album. The 39-year-old actress/singer tells readers:

Hi there, just wanted to thank all of you who have sent mail recently, I’m sorry not to answer back but there just aren’t enough hours… I’m starting on songs for the new record which we kind of hope will be done by the end of the year, my son likes to chew on my guitar, especially when I’m playing it, so it might take a while….

Neil Sean of Sky News reports that although ’s debut album ‘Everything I’ve Got In My Pocket’ wasn’t a great seller, the actress plans on releasing a second disc. “Singing is my dream and, while it may have not been a commercial success, critically I was thrilled with the reception my first album got,” Driver told a source.
