Paris Hilton visited ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ on Tuesday (May 31) with her mother Kathy for a revealing interview where the heiress talked about people viewing her as spoiled, having not earned her wealth, the infamous sex tape(s), her music career, the death of her friend Michael Jackson, and her new reality show ‘The World According to Paris’.
On her music career:
Piers: If you — if you came on “America’s Got Talent,” what would your — what would your talent be?
Paris: Singing.
Piers: Can you — yes, you can sing. You’ve made an album.
Paris: I’m recording my new album right now, too.
Piers: Are you getting you’re a serious singer or are you a brand singer, as an extension of your brand?
Paris: It’s just part of my brand. I see myself as a businesswoman and a brand. And singing is just something that adds to my brand.
On Michael Jackson:
Piers: Paris, did you know Michael well?
Paris: Yeah, I grew up – just my mom – I remember – one of the first memories I have of him was when my mom took us to the music video set of “Thriller.” And we have the pictures still. I just always loved him. I used to go to his concerts and he’d bring my sister and I on stage and we’d sing up there.
I just always loved him so much. He was such an amazing man.

Though Paris Hilton claimed the Chanel purse she was carrying when arrested in Las Vegas for cocaine possession wasn’t hers, the heiress posted a photo of a handbag that appears identical to the one that contained the illegal white powder. Paris Hilton will be charged with possession of a controlled substance – and could face up to 4 years in prison – but according to the heiress, the cocaine in her purse wasn’t hers, but probably belonged to a girlfriend who had borrowed the bag previously. Paris Hilton was arrested on Friday night in Las Vegas with her boyfriend and Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits, who manages a club inside the Wynn Las Vegas. The couple were in a black SUV that a police officer stopped nearby at 11:22 p.m. Friday. The officer “followed the vapor trail and the odor of marijuana to the Escalade,” police Sgt. John Sheahan said. When the heiress asked to go inside the Wynn for privacy, she pulled a tube of lip balm from her purse and a plastic bag with cocaine dropped out in the process, prompting cops to arrest the 29-year-old for cocaine possession. Lady Gaga tells Q magazine she doesn’t view Paris Hilton, who has been working on her second album, as an artist. The 24-year-old attended New York’s Convent Of The Sacred Heart as a child, as did Paris and her sister Nicky. “It’s true [that we went to school together], but I don’t see [Paris] as an artist,” Gaga explained. “People assume that all the girls who went to my school were like Nicky and Paris, and the truth is that I went to a very, very religious school and some girls were very artistic and some did drugs and didn’t give a fu**. It was just like any other high school. Except we had nuns.”
