The Daily Star reports Phixx star Mikey Green moved out of the love nest he shared with Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud last week after reports that they intend to have a trial separation. A pal piped revealed, “They have been under strain for some time… while she performed with Girls Aloud at G.A.Y. on New Year’s Eve, Mikey saw in 2004 alone.” The friend added, “They’re both desperate to sort their differences out but at this stage it’s looking unlikely because of their work schedules.”
The Glasgow Daily Record reports Phixx star Peter Smith is set to sing a special duet with his new girlfriend, Liberty X babe Kelli Young, on his band’s new album. “It seemed an obvious thing to do a joint project with the bands Gary [Wilson] and I manage,” Phixx co-manager Nathan Moore said. “We are always in the office working together and, as everyone gets on, it seemed a good combination. Putting Liberty X on the same concert bill as Phixx seemed a natural thing to talk about.”

The People reports Phixx star Mikey Greene and his girlfriend Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud are on the hunt for a new pad after neighbors complained about their loud sex. “I don’t know what they’re talking about,” Greene insisted. “We’re hardly ever there. But we’re moving – we’ve had enough.”
The Mirror reports Phixx star Andrew Kinlochan, who just revealed he gay, blew a chance to date fellow gay pop star Will Young. Pop Idol winner Will gave Andrew his mobile number and asked him to call when they met on the show, but Andrew was too shy to call the singer. “Andrew really wanted to call Will but he was far too nervous,” an insider said. “Then after Will had won the contest Andrew felt that if he called, Will would think it was only because he’d won the show. Because of that he missed out.”
Phixx singer Andrew Kinlochan has revealed that he’s gay, The Sun reports. “It became annoying when I was asked questions that just weren’t relevant to me,” Kinlochan explained. “Everyone close to me knows anyway so it’s no big deal. The band have known for ages so they’re fine about it. Hopefully this won’t have a bad effect on the group. Fans shouldn’t look at us any differently.”
The Sun reports Popstars losers Phixx have landed a £500,000 record deal with independent label Concept Music. Band member Mikey Green remarked, “Being involved in ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ gave us all our break. The five of us all got on really well on the show and secretly always wanted it to be us who made the final band.” Read more.
The Sunday People reports Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has been banned from getting engaged by her manager Louis Walsh. The singer has been dating Mikey Green of the Pop Rivals reject group Phixx, and Walsh was adamant he didn’t want Sarah associated with a boy whose singing couldn’t even get him into the now defunct One True Voice. Walsh also wants it to appear that Harding is “available”.
‘Popstars: The Rivals’ rejects Phixx stopped by Radio 1 to introduce their new band. Chris talked about working with Blue star Lee Ryan, gushing that Ryan was “the most talented guy any of us have ever worked with. He’s a brilliant songwriter, producer, singer. People will print things but the fact that people like Lee with the talent they’ve got behind them believe in us is a massive compliment.”
