Why doesn’t the world still love Prince! Back in the 80′s this guy was rival to Michael Jackson, and was producing some of the best pop records of all time, yet today he is a mere legend, passed down by those who remember his glory days. His last album was a “return to form” of sorts as he acheived good sales and won back the critics, but could still not manage to match his past successes. Hopefully, with a new album scheduled for release this year, the man who helped define the modern Pop/Rock era will be welcomed back into the mainstream!

The Las Vegas Sun reports that during his show in Vegas, Prince took a few digs at some other artists currently on tour. “Las Vegas, you made the right choice tonight,” Prince said, making a clear reference to the Madonna concert going on at the same time at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. He also said several times that there was “no lip-syncing going on here tonight,” nor canned music, a gentle swipe at Britney Spears as well as Madonna.
