Blender On The Set Of Pussycat Dolls Photo Shoot

Blender.com has footage of the from the girl group’s cover shoot. The girls talked about the underwear pillow fight, loving peanut butter and jelly, their “one two three PCD” pre game ritual, and how their sound has changed on their second album. “I think with our new album we’ve matured as people and as we mature as people our music matures along with us. So it just feels much stronger and just more fresh and fun,” Kimberly Wyatt said of ‘Doll Domination’. Watch it below.

Pussycat Dolls Blender Magazine Photoshoot Behind The Scenes

TV Guide has highlights of the ’ photoshoot for Blender magazine, where the girl group strip down to their underwear and have a pillow fight. “Actually it’s a really different shoot for us,” said. “It’s a shoot that we’ve never really done before. It’s a really natural and basic look. We’re showing a different side of the Pussycat Dolls, and we’re keeping it real fresh and clean.” Watch the clip below.

Jessica Sutta Mourns Grandpa’s Death

Jessica Sutta of the updated fans while in Germany on the girl group’s blog at pcdmusic.com earlier today. Sutta writes:

We are currently in Germany having an incredible dinner! We are so exhausted because for the last two days we have been shooting a video for our next single “Whatcha Think About That” featuring the one the only Missy Elliott!! It was so much fun working with her. I can’t wait to see it and I cant wait for you to see it too! The concept was based on the old school PCD and I gotta tell ya, Diane Martel (the director) really captured the essence of the early stages of the Pussycat Dolls. I hope you love it as much as I loved doing it!

On a sad note.. My grandpa passed away this morning. :( He was really sick but now he’s in heaven. If you have a moment today could you say a prayer for my family? It would mean the world to me. I love you grandpa. Im gonna miss you but I’ll see you in heaven someday…

will.i.am On Why Nicole Scherzinger’s Solo Bid Failed

Blender magazine profiled the ’ return with ‘Doll Domination’, and the solo failure of which accelerated their return. “It’s not that she didn’t have good songs,” Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am insisted. “The reason that Nicole didn’t take off was bad planning. No one knew Nicole was going to put out a record, because they didn’t develop her as an individual when the were at their height, the way we did with Fergie.” Robin Antin, who founded the girl group, is ready to take on the identity issue. “We want the world to get to know them separately, but the bottom line is that the fans see what they want to see,” she said.

PCD’s Ashley Roberts Feels Like A Rock Star In Spain

Ashley Roberts of the checked in with fans on the girl group’s official web site on Tuesday (August 19). Roberts writes:

PCD is on and poppin’. I think I had one of the best weeks ever being with PCD. We kicked it off in London doing some press and promotion for Doll Domination, which is now set to debut September 23rd. We got the best fan’s out there and its good to see some old faces.

Then we headed to Malaga, Spain.. WOW!! We have never been to Spain before and we had the warmest welcome. I felt like a real rock star while we were there. We had people lined around the hotel to see us! So cool.. hee hee.
