Renee Cassar checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Thursday (February 18), discussing plans to release her new single ‘Live and Learn’, the title track off her new album coming out March 27th via Island Records. The Australian pop rock singer writes:
Right – so this is very exciting for me… we’re about to release the title track off my new album – Live and Learn, to me it is the most inspiring track on the album. As a teen I was a little scattered, insecure and I kept a lot of things to myself. ‘Live and Learn’ is the song I wish I could go back in time and sing to myself lol weird but true, what I needed was someone to say loud and clear “No matter what things will be ok, It will get better”
We’re actually filming the video clip for Live & Learn next week and I want YOU to be in it! I really think you guys and girls will make it amazing.
The Renee Cassar Show #5 features the Melbourne, Australia singer songwriter talking about performing a gig with Short Stack before performing their hit ‘Sway Baby Sway’, followed by covers of ‘MMMbop’ by Hanson, ‘Baby Got Back’ by Sir Mix-A-Lot and ‘Every Breath You Take’ by The Police – all joined by her guitarist Gilly G.

The Renee Cassar Show #6 features the Australian pop rock singer sounding off against smoking and littering those cigarette butts. She then saved a bird by scaring it off as it was nibbling on paper. “The message today is keep Australia clean, don’t litter,” Renee says to close the video. Renee Cassar is currently recording her debut album in Los Angeles, coming out soon, and she performed a track featured on the disc, ‘Freak Show’ in a video posting at Melbourne alternative pop singer’s YouTube channel.
