Ryan Starr Blasts Simon Cowell, Resists His Advances

Ousted ‘American Idol’ tells ‘Access Hollywood’ she has an album on the way and you can bet she won’t be asking for Simon Cowell’s opinion. “I think that he’s a complete idiot,” Ryan told Access. Could that be the reason Ryan didn’t accept Simon’s offer to “call me?” Ryan revealed, “I totally blew him off backstage. He tried to give me his phone number. I was like, ‘Get away from me.’ He’s nothing to me.”

The New York Daily News reports in his new book, ‘I Don’t Mean to Be Rude, But… : Backstage Gossip from ‘American Idol’ & the Secrets that Can Make You a Star,’ Simon Cowell revealed 2002 hopeful “was downright bitter” about being voted off. “When she came back onto the show after she was eliminated, she sat behind Tamyra [Gray], who was singing, and she made faces and mocked Tamyra during the performance.”
