Samantha Ronson updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (February 20), reacting to reports that her girlfriend Lindsay Lohan had been spending big bucks on a hairstylist, even paying $500 for Sam’s haircuts. Ronson writes:

Two things-

1. It doesn’t cost $500 to cut my hair… Have you seen my hair? I don’t even have that many strands.

2. If for some reason I decided that I was going to throw $500 away on a hair cut I would pay for it myself, however – I have a great exchange going with my hair dresser – I make him CDs – he cuts my hair. Yay! Cheap and cheerful!

So there!

Yes, I just stooped to your level… I guess that’s what too many hours alone in a hotel room in DC will do…

Justin Rocket Silverman blogged in the New York Post about running into Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson having a lover’s spat outside Charlotte Ronson’s after party Friday night at the Eldridge in New York City. Silverman says that Lohan cried to the DJ, “Samantha Judith Ronson, why are you doing this to me?” as she chased her down East First Street, puffing a cigarette while the two made their way to the Bowery Hotel. Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael checked in on his official web site on Wednesday (January 28), reacting to news that Linds is back together with Samantha Ronson and concerned with the star’s recent weight loss, among other things. Michael consistently borrowed the Perez Hilton method of referring to the DJ as “SaMANtha” in his written rant. He writes:

When a mother or father sees their child in turmoil (losing weight, not working, and purportedly cutting herself) are we supposed to stand by, remain silent and pretend it isn’t happening? Or are we suppose to step to the plate and not care what people think, and do something about it?

Well, as you can see, I’m not going to sit back and let it slide.

I am asking everyone out their to intervene in every way possible to help Lindsay, and quite possibly, save her life. Help this wonderful, good hearted and gifted young lady to see what SaMANtha is doing to her and how she is destroying her life.
