Charlie Puth joined Selena Gomez for the last U.S. date of her worldwide ‘Revival Tour’ at the Honda Center in Anaheim last month. Charlie jumped on the stage during Selena’s set to perform their smash single ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ live for the first time. ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ is the third hit single from Puth’s debut album, ‘Nine Track Mind’, which was recently certified Gold.
Selena Gomez is out with the music video to her new single ‘Good For You’, off the American pop singer’s second studio album ‘Revival’, out soon on Interscope Records. Talking about the theme of the Sophie Muller directed video, Gomez told MTV News, “It’s very jeans and a T-shirt, moments where a woman is deep in thought, or in a moment where she’s in this crazy little rage. It just captures real things that women do. There are a lot of things that women do that are sexy that aren’t just the typical, cheap way of being sexy.” Watch it via YouTube below.
Selena Gomez is out with the music video to her new single ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’, off the American pop singer’s 2014 compilation album ‘For You’, out now on Hollywood Records. The black and white video, directed by Dawn Shadforth and featuring Shiloh Fernandez as Selena’s love interest, can be viewed via YouTube below.

TMZ is suggesting that Selena Gomez’s decision to appear out in public the other night at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood with her good friend and former ‘Barney’ co-star Demi Lovato the same day Justin Bieber was released from jail was to send a message to her ex-boyfriend. Selena ignored questions about Bieber from the paparazzi while signing autographs for fans instead of staying in hiding, which Harvey Levin and crew suggested was to put it out there that she’s sober and not a jailed druggie like Bieber or his new squeeze Chantel Jeffries, and that she’s not particularly broken up about Justin’s legal dilemma.
Selena Gomez received a scare on Saturday after a 19-year-old man was arrested outside her home in Tarzana, California for trespassing. A family member called 911 after seeing the man lurking on the property this morning. No word if Selena at home at the time of the incident, though the perp told cops he wanted to meet the singer/actress.
Selena Gomez is reacting to the video of ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s alleged one night stand with Tati Neves, where the busty Brazilian videotaped evidence of her conquest of the pop star asleep in bed before blabbing details of their encounter with The Sun.
“Selena pretty much knew that Justin and Tati hooked up just by looking at the video of him sleeping in bed,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com. “What Tati said hurts because Selena still has feelings for Justin and doesn’t need or want to know what he’s doing behind closed doors.”
And no, Gomez isn’t buying the story that Bieber was creeped out by a fan sneaking into his room to record the footage.
Selena Gomez visited Walmart Soundcheck to perform a special live version of her smash single ‘Come and Get It’, taken from the pop singer’s #1 new album ‘Stars Dance’, along with previous singles ‘Hit The Lights’, ‘Who Says’, ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ and ‘Naturally’, before sitting down for a revealing interview where she dishes on her 2013 tour plans, taking a break from music, how her new album came together, and more.
Discussing how she’s grown up from her ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ days, Selena said, “I’m transitioning from being a young adult to being an adult. I don’t really feel like an adult half the time…I work with adults and I have to carry myself as one, and you know, I have a lot of responsibilities but at the end of the day I still feel like a kid.”
Sharing why she picked the name of her latest album, Gomez said, “The reason why I named the album, “Star Dance,” is because it was one of my favorite tracks on the album. When I recorded the song I knew that it was really special and it was going to be a great moment on tour and I just believe in that song.”
Talking about taking a break from music, Selena said, “I was able to do other things that I really wanted to do. My series ended that I was doing for four years, and I just kind of wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the things I got to experience, and it is actually something that I’ve been wanting to do, but just wanting to make sure I had the time to do it. I waited and took about 6 months to record the record and it was really fun. It was a great time and opportunity for me to really grow as an artist.”
As for Selena’s 2013 tour plans, she said, “I grew up with Britney Spears and *NSYNC and Janet Jackson… They went on stage and gave a show with incredible dance routines or just fun wardrobe ideas. So that’s what I would really like to do for this tour is get really into the entertainment and performing aspect of it all. Making it seem like it’s old school stuff, you know, bringing all of the music to life with choreography.”
Selena Gomez received some social media love from fellow Texas pop star Kelly Clarkson on Twitter the other day, presumably after the ‘American Idol’ season one champ saw Selena performing at the MTV Video Music Awards. The pair write:
Kelly Clarkson (@kelly_clarkson): Dear Selena Gomez, you are by far one of the most beautiful, sexy, classy things on this planet. #Goddidgood #texasgirls
Selena Gomez (@selenagomez): @Kelly_clarkson Thank you :) #thebiggerthehairclosertoGod #lovemesometexans
With it being a decade since the infamous MTV Video Music Awards kiss between Madonna and her younger peers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, MTV News caught up with Selena Gomez to ask the singer and actress about the pop culture moment. “Yes! That’s amazing! I think I was 11. I was exactly 11 years old,” Selena said about the decade that has passed since the kiss. As for Selena’s reaction to watching it for the first time, she said, “I am obsessed with Britney. I loved everything about it. I was obsessed. I was into it.”
Watch what Gomez had to say about whether she’d take Britney up on an offer to re-create that sapphic moment below.
Of the many celebrity messages mourning the death of Kidd Kraddick, the Texas based host of the syndicated radio program Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, it was preculiar that no messages came from fellow Texan Selena Gomez or her boyfriend Justin Bieber. Kraddick was one of the first to give both radio play and had frequently interviewed the famous couple. But in November of 2011, Selena Gomez tweeted (@selenagomez) Kidd for what was the last time, writing:
Kidd I used to look up to you. Talk about me all you want but my mom or my family is crossing the line.
Bieber then tweeted (@JustinBieber):
Smooth kid. real smooth smh.
Both deleted their tweets, but what set Justin and Selena off? As Zap2it.com reported at the time, it was during the time that Selena’s mother Mandy Teefey was pregnant at the time, and was in her mid 30’s, and Kidd and the morning crew had a discussion on how appropriate it was for a woman in her 30’s to have children. One of the guys on the morning show chimed in, “I don’t know if I could date a girl and her mom is pregnant.”
Co-host Kellie Rasberry then talked about how the news of Selena’s mother being pregnant could be a cover up and that it was actually Selena herself who was pregnant and the mom was going through the exercise to protect Selena’s image, prompting Kidd to speculate, “What if Justin Bieber got Selena’s mom pregnant?”
Tragically, a few weeks after the November 2011 incident, Mandy had a miscarriage. Mandy did give birth to a daughter last month, Gracie Elliot.
Among the Twitter messages sent to Selena and Justin about not making note of the DJ’s passing:
Elle (@ElleDavGon): @selenagomez did you hear that Kidd Kraddick passed away? Did you ever apologize to him for the unnecessary drama?
jj (@wordswithhaters): @selenagomez are you glad @KiddKraddick is dead?
Emily Williams (@emilyk716): I think @justinbieber should say something about the passing of Kidd Kraddick. If not then he has lost a fan. What a douche.
Jess Hernandez (@jesscmoney): @justinbieber How selfish could u be? Kidd Kraddick helped u get to where you’re at. And you don’t acknowledge his passing?
Brandon Pace (@mizutgrfn): No love for Kidd!!! Fu**ing dirt bag @justinbieber
G a b r i e l (@MendozaOverdose): @justinbieber you’re a douche bag Kidd Kraddick basically boosted some of your fame, and you never acknowledged it.
#RipKiddKraddick (@AMaliseS15): @justinbieber @KiddKraddick died recently you better say something! I don’t care how busy you are! This is tragic & you knew him personally
