"We just celebrated our fifth anniversary, and we've been together for eight years in total," the singer said. "It's been incredible. We're friends, we're lovers, we're companions. It's so great when you find the other half of you. It's as if you lost your other half, but then this person gives it back to you when you meet him." As for having children with the 56-year-old Casablana Records boss, Thalia responded, "Definitely. It's in our plans, so we'll see what happens."

When Thalia was first courted for ventures, the singer had to battle concepts built on stereotypes. "Before, [they wanted] the 'classic' Latino girl with the red dress, the flower in her hair, doing the cha-cha," Thalia told The New York Daily News. "But the Latin woman is not like that. We are so different. Finally, they are starting to see that now." Now, she's built a fashion and music empire that rivals Jennifer Lopez and Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
