Three of The Beach Girl5 members checked in with fans on the girl group’s YouTube channel, thanking them for all their votes and support after learning they’ve moved on to the semi-finals for KIIS FM’s Wango Tang Breakout Star competition. The girls will be doing a showcase this weekend and battling four other acts, with the top two moving on to the finals.

The Beach Girl5 performed the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ for the LA Sol’s season opener against the Washington Freedom on Sunday (March 29) at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Watch the National Anthem performance on the girl group’s YouTube channel below.
The Beach Girl5 posted footage from the recording studio and dance rehearsal. “We were at the studio all day recording 2 new songs and some new stuff on ‘Lovin’ It’,” the girl group writes. “It’s soooo dope!!!” They also made the pitch for fans to vote for them at kiisfm.com to get them a spot on the Wango Tango concert. Mandy Jiroux then pleaded for fans to vote for her BFF Miley Cyrus at the Kids Choice Awards.
The video, featuring the girls listening to ‘Lovin’ It’, has since been removed at YouTube.
Mandy Jiroux checked in with her MySpace friends on Sunday (February 22), posting a video with a BFF other than Miley Cyrus, but promising another episode of the Miley and Mandy Show soon. The Beach Girlz star tells readers:

Hollywire caught up with the young stars on the pink carpet at the G-Girlz Rockin’ Valentine Party in Beverly Hills on February 7th, including Savvy & Mandy, Miley Jiroux of The Beach Girlz, and KSM. Miley Cyrus’ BFF admitted she’s never had a Valentine and said her dream celebrity guy would be Shia LaBoouf. Watch the highlight reel below.
Mandy Jiroux and Laura New of The Beach Girlz showed off their skateboarding skills on the girl group’s YouTube channel. Mandy isn’t very good yet, but Laura has been skating since she could walk.

Mandy Jiroux and Miley Cyrus recorded a holiday themed video, with the BFFs singing ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ while in the ‘Hannah Montana’ star’s huge closet. Next, Mandy was seen with her Beach Girlz bandmates at a showcase for Atlantic Records. Then Mandy is at a show dancing for Miley, getting introduced to the crowd by Miley on the eve of her 21st birthday. The video ends with Miley and Mandy wishing fans a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Watch the video below.

Whats been goin’ on w me lately?? Wellllll working really hard w The Beach Girlz. (We’re soon goin to take out that flippin Z at the end of girlzzzzz haha) We’ve been in vocal lessons like crazy. I also have been dancin for Milez quite a bit. We went to Europe last month and that was amazing! Paris is my favorite place on this earth! The girls complained about microwaved food at Big Boy and were excited to be back in Los Angeles the next day. They also hyped the AVP pro beach volleyball tour, sporting AVP hoodies, and endorsed Stephenie Meyer’s new book ‘Twilight’.
