The Saturdays updated fans on their blog at MySpace on Tuesday (September 30). The British girl group writes:
‘Up’ has just been given massive exposure in the States and been used in a trailer for the new season of ‘Ugly Betty’.
The show is one of the biggest sitcoms in America and one of the girls’ favorites.
Vanessa said, “I love Ugly Betty so I feel really honored that our track has been used in the show. I still can’t believe it! I keep asking Una to pinch me but sometimes she pinches a little hard! Haha… No, seriously, this is such a big deal to us all and we hope America likes what they hear!”
Una Healy of The Saturdays checked in with fans on the British girl group’s blog at MySpace on Wednesday (September 10). Healy writes:
Hello! Well where do I start??? The Saturdays are crazy busy these days, and loving every minute of the late nights and early mornings (well, the bits in between are my favourite because I am finding the early mornings with 3 hours sleep a little rough, but I am a solider as are all the other Sats!) Last Friday we had a late night Charity gig in London for Woolworths, and Cliff Richard the legend was also performing on the night. We took to the stage right after him actually!
Then we headed to Manchester the next morning for our gig at the Trafford Centre’s 10th birthday party (great to see so many friendly faces in the crowd)! When we came back Rochelle, Vanessa and I hit the town and had a well deserved big night out! It was actually our first night out in weeks!! So we had a little sleep in on Sunday before we headed off to Cardiff for Gay Pride where we performed at 10pm, lovely crowd there too. Oh and I forgot my “dancing” shoes, so I had to borrow Frankie’s boots that she wore that day. A black pair (they were flats and had ruffles very trendy but not so tasty with the orange dress as you can imagine!!).
