The Veronicas checked in with fans on Tuesday (October 25) at their blog at MySpace.com. They write, “Hey guys! This is the first day out on the Ryan Cabrera/Click 5 tour, and we are rockin out! We have our new tour bus, and we can’t wait to see you all! Keep on rockin’! Love Jess and Lis.”
Craig Mathieson of The Age reviewed The Veronicas’ self-titled debut and gave the Brisbane twins 3 stars, disappointed none of the tracks could live up to the duo’s breakout single ‘4ever’.
“If they’d managed to come up with 10 hot-rodding variants of ‘4ever’, the Veronicas could have had one of the best pop albums since the Ramones dropped their self-titled debut in 1976,” he said. “As it is, there’s too much bubble and not enough gum.”
Jess Origliasso of The Veronicas phoned in to KISS 106.1 FM in Seattle from their hotel room… in Seattle. The Brisbane twins planned on being in the studio, but Lisa was sick so Jess was the only one on the line. They talked a bit about Lisa’s illness, how they work things out as twins, “switching” boyfriends, how they got the group name, celebrating their birthday’s on Christmas, being on the station’s Jingle Ball lineup, and more. KISS1061.com has since removed the audio, and morning crew member Sammi’s blog on the interview, and how she was stood up by Jordan Knight, formerly of New Kids On The Block, from the interview on the previous morning, has also been removed.
The Veronicas are out with the video to their debut single ‘4ever’, off the Brisbane, Australia twin pop duo’s debut album ‘The Secret Life Of…’. Watch it via YouTube below.
