Taylor Berrett and Vita Chambers are out with a cover of the Drake track ‘Take Care’ featuring Rihanna. SRP Music Group is grooming up-and-coming singer-songwriter Taylor Berrett to become their next star. Taylor recently released a new video for his single ‘Anchor Chasing’, and now he’s teamed up with Universal Motown’s Vita Chambers on a new version of the ‘Take Care’. Taylor is slated to release his debut EP in early 2012.
Vita Chambers checked in with her Twitter followers (@vitachambers) on Friday (August 12) before and after she took a driver’s permit test, celebrating after it went successfully. The 18-year-old Barbadian singer writes:

Vita Chambers ran into NBA star Shaquille O’Neal backstage during her show opening for Justin Bieber at Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday night (August 4). The Barbados pop singer told her Twitter followers (@vitachambers):

AOL’s Just So You Know did a Twitter interview with Vita Chambers earlier this month, asking the 17-year-old Barbados native aboue her new EP called ‘The Get Go’, its first single ‘Like Boom’, and more. Asked about the ‘Like Boom’ music video concept, Vita said, “It was so much fun!! The director, Sarah Chatfield was the one who came up with the idea.. When I heard about it I fell in love.”
As for the inspiration for her style, Vita responded, “I read a lot of fashion mags, but my biggest fashion inspiration is Gwen Stefani.” Check out the entire interview at jsyk.com.
Vita Chambers posted exclusive performance footage from her “Like Boom” 17th birthday bash at Santos Party House in New York City on June 8th. The Barbados native’s 20 minute set featured performances of songs from her debut EP ‘The Get Go’ and a special rock mash-up of Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’. Vita Chambers performed an acoustic version of Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ on her YouTube channel, which she said is “1 of my favorite songs at the moment.” The Barbadian pop singer also performed the track, along with Ke$ha’s ‘Tik Tok’, with kids over at SRP Records (The Loft). Vita will be on the same lineup as Bieber as well as Selena Gomez, Sean Kingston and others at this year’s Pop-Con festival on Saturday (February 20). Watch the three clips below.
