The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Bobby Brown, who’s been jailed twice just this year, is trying to sell a show about himself to a network. Brown’s production company, B2 Entertainment, has been following him and equally troubled wife, Whitney Houston, around the Atlanta area, where the couple resides, the newspaper reported Thursday.
Whitney Houston’s Mother Cissy Plans Prayer Vigil
The Chicago Sun-Times reports Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy announced plans via a recorded message airing on New York’s KISS-FM radio station for a ”prayer vigil” next Monday — a two-hour event the R&B and gospel great said she’s calling ”mothers praying for healing.” In the statement, the senior Houston said, ”Let us pray for healing and deliverance for our children affected by substance abuse.” A friend of the family remarked, “”Clearly Cissy’s public statement on the issue is her way of continuing to keep Whitney focused on how essential Cissy considers Whitney’s recovery… for herself, for [her daughter] Bobbi Kristina and for her entire family.”
Whitney Houston’s Flack Insist She’s Still In Rehab
The Boston Herald reports Whitney Houston’s people are insisting the troubled singer is still in a “private facility” undergoing rehab for drug addiction. But reports have the singer showing up at her suburban Atlanta home last week to greet her husband Bobby Brown when he got out of jail. “Whitney Houston is continuing the program she chose for rehabilitation in a private facility,” said a fax from Houston’s publicist, who declined further comment.

From there, she was supposed to go into a nearby drug-rehab facility, but she checked herself out of the throat clinic on Saturday and into a local hotel. “She couldn’t have been in a 28-day program, since she was getting and receiving calls,” a source insisted.
