Neil Sean of Sky News reports that ‘Pop Idol’ season one champ Will Young is making an effort to end his feud with Simon Cowell as he hopes to find U.S. success later this year and needs Cowell’s backing. The two originally fell out after Simon backed ‘Idol’ runner-up Gareth Gates on the show in 2002.

‘Pop Idol’ season one champ Will Young was photographed wearing what seemed to be a pair of pajama bottoms and some old shoes, leaving his home in London, England on Friday (April 28).

The Daily Star reports that ‘Blue Peter’ presenters Valerie Singleton, Peter Purves and John Noakes were not notified by ‘Pop Idol’ season one champ Will Young, whos used footage of their younger selves in the music video to his new single ‘Who Am I’. “It would have been nice if they’d have asked me and the other presenters shown if they could use footage of us,” Singleton said. “Maybe a royalty or two would be nice too.” So now there could be a lawsuit involved.
