Tamyra Says Her Voice Was Shot

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution spoke with Tamyra Gray who revealed what went wrong with her first song on Tuesday’s ‘American Idol’ – ‘New Attitude’. “I had no voice whatsoever,” she said. “If I had given that any more than I did, I wouldn’t have had a voice for the second song. I hadn’t been talking in several days.” Because of the vocal problems, Gray admitted, “I had a feeling this was my week to go home.”
