Tatu Makeout (?) On Jimmy Kimmel Live

were on Jimmy Kimmel live last night were they performed ‘All the Things She Said’ in front of heavy promo by Jimmy touting their making out, while mocking Jay Leno for cutting to another camera when they kissed on the Tonight Show Tuesday night. The pair weren’t too friendly to Jimmy though, giving one word answers to start out the interview. When they did perform — lipsynch — they covered their mouths with their hands during the kissing scene. There also was some breast touching during the performance. For a transcript and some video captures, read on.

Jimmy: Don King, Vince Vaughn and Monica Belucci are here. In this
wonderful world, there are men who like music. Men who like Russian women.
And men who like teen lesbians. Jay Leno is not one of those men. Fortunately,
though, I am. From Russia, here are tatu!

[ Cheers and applause ]

[ Cheers and applause ] Fantastic. Welcome, girls. Relax. Have a seat. Fantastic. One of you can sit on my lap.

[ Laughter ]

Tatu: A joke, I guess.

Jimmy: Yes, that was a joke. Uh-oh. Dan, you may have to take over here.

Jimmy: Are you having fun so far on your trip here?

Tatu: Yep.

Jimmy: Uh-oh. All right. All right, ladies. Is there anything I can
do to make your stay more comfortable?

Tatu: No.

Don: Leave them alone.

Jimmy: Is there something you’re upset about?

Tatu: No, just maybe to take off this glass and stuff.

Jimmy: You want the glass of water gone? Put it on the floor. Thank
you very much.

Tatu: Take a drink, she says.

Jimmy: Is there a problem. Did you find the hole I drilled in your dressing room?

[ Laughter ]

Tatu: It was a problem, maybe of ABC.

Jimmy: Really? Is there an ABC problem? You had a problem on NBC last night.

Tatu: NBC.

Jimmy: This is ABC. We don’t censor anything. We’ll put any crap on.

[ Cheers and applause ] So, what happened last night? You’re notorious in Russia for this video you have where you kiss in the video. We don’t have a big problem with that over here. But in Russia, it’s — it upset
some people, right?

Tatu: Right.

[ Laughter ]

Tatu: Right.

Jimmy: Well, let’s look at what happened last night. I feel like I’m
in a “Twilight Zone” episode. This is you guys last night. Wait until —

Tatu: Okay, okay.

Jimmy: They cut away from you. All right. I’ll take off my jacket. Why not?

Tatu: Take off.

Jimmy: What’s going to happen here? All right. And then, they went to the band. Enough already.

Jimmy: Why did they put away from you? Was that an anti-gay statement on Jay Leno’s part?

Tatu: I don’t know because — it was just like — I don’t know why.

Jimmy: You don’t know why.

Tatu: NBC, they cut our kiss. You’re not going to cut our kiss. But
backstage, it was something unbelievable. Everybody’s like crazy. They’re afraid

Jimmy: Over there?

Tatu: They’re afraid. They ask us not to wear those t-shirts because
— I think they were afraid for you not to understand our words.

Jimmy: Because it said something bad on the t-shirt?

Tatu: Not bad.

Jimmy: It was profane, right?

Tatu: So, now we are wearing censored. Thank you, ABC. You’re like NBC.

Jimmy: Don King, I don’t know if he’s mentioned — look at Monica.

Don: To Russia with love. This 007.

Tatu: You need a russian flag.

Don: I need one. I want you to be in the red light district.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Jimmy: All right. You guys are going to perform. Whatever you want to do, we will not —

Tatu: Wait, wait, wait. I don’t know for whom I should listen to, there or there. I have only two ears.

Jimmy: No one at home has been able to figure that, either. How nice. I don’t know what that means but it’s probably dirty, on my hands. What
we’re going to do. You can do whatever you want. What does that mean?

Vince Vaughan: Thanks for having me on.

Jimmy: Great to see you.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Don: I’m so proud of you guys for being who you are. I know you have
something to say. You have a lot to say.

Jimmy: When we come back, tatu is going to perform, live and not censored. And it’s going to be fantastic, right? What does this say?

Tatu: No war.

Jimmy: Oh, no war.

Tatu: [ Bleep ]

Jimmy: We’ll be right back, with tatu.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Jimmy: People are always asking me why not have more hot Russian teenage lesbian pop stars on the show. All right, ladies. You have our permission. You have the blessing of the Walt Disney corporation to do whatever you want. Performing their hit, “All The Things She Said,” here is tatu.
