The Sun reports t.A.T.u. star Julia Volkova is pregnant with the child of her long time boyfriend, Pasha Sidorov. Apparently Sidorov is a karate expert and already has a wife and a daughter. “Obviously we won’t be celebrating a wedding,” Julia was quoted as saying. The band plans to stage a comeback after she delivers the baby.
Tatu Under Investigation In Moscow
February 12, 2004 – Interfax reports the Moscow Office of Public Prosecutor is supposed to examine if t.A.T.u. has been campaigning for using drugs after it was reported that the duo’s documentary ‘Tatu’s Antomy’ shows them urging the spectators to use drugs in some episodes. In particular, the band’s recently sacked producer Ivan Shapovalov demonstrates the process of preparing and using drugs.

Tatu Split From Controversial Manager?
February 11, 2004 – Tatu.us reports Russia’s STS channel, along with several t.A.T.u. websites, are reporting that Ivan Shapovalov and t.A.T.u. have apparently severed ties. This news comes after much controversy surrounding Shapovalov’s exclusivity with t.A.T.u. Neither t.A.T.u. nor Universal Russia have released any statements regarding the split.
Tatu To Attend MTV Asia Awards
February 6, 2004 – t.A.T.u. were invited to the 3rd annual MTV Asia Awards 2004, which will take place on 14th of February, on the Valentines Day, in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The duo is nominated in two categories: ‘The Favorite Breakthrough’ and ‘The Favorite Pop Group’. Possibly, Lena Katina and Julia Volkova will also present the award to one of the 19 MTV Asia Awards nominees. The filming crew of Tatu’s reality show ‘Tatu in Podnebesnaya’, which is currently broadcasted on STS, will also go to Singapore with the girls. Fragments of Tatu’s visit to Singapore will be included in one of the upcoming episodes.
