When Christina’s Dirrty came out she wasn’t even in the top 50 and she debuted at #2. So did Justin. No worries. I just think younger fans go out to buy it because they don’t want to wait for shipping. You know, they are more fanatical. But by now, Beatles fans are older and just figure whenever they get the album, they get it.

Also, a lot of Britney’s fans are young. They probably don’t even have credit cards. lol

Well, I am sorry to say this but, Britney will have to fall sometime.

That doesn’t mean anything. I hope Britney debuts at number 1, but if she doesn’t.. it’s still good! I know she has produced an awesome CD and I can’t wait to buy it!

That doesn’t mean nothing that she’s not doing well on Amazon. Artists that are geared to older people are the ones who do well on that site. That’s why you have Rod Stewart, Sheryl Crow, Harry Connick Jr. and Bette Midler in the top 10. Singers that mostly only older and really old people would listen to.

Beatles aren’t gonna beat Britney. All the old Beatles fans WILL NOT go to the record store at 00:01 to pick up that album Britney fans WILL.

WHO GIVES A CRAP I doubt The Beatles will beat Britney but if they do then “let it be”…. what matters to the fans and the public is that this album is more mature and sounds amazing she really took this album seriously and it shows -the song snippets sound so great Britney will prove herself successful AGAIN whether its at #1 or not she will top the charts tho I’m sure

^^^ ok..people just because Beatles fans are older doesn’t mean they aren’t fanatical you guys obviously don’t understand the magnitude the Beatles had on these people and no they might not go to a record store at 00:01 but they have the whole day to go maybe they aren’t as childish and immature as to miss a whole night of sleep over an album that is going to be there at a more normal and appropriate time…but trust me…’Let it be….Naked’ is an album Beatles fans are dying for and it will put up a fight don’t for one minute think that just because they have a fan base of more than 9 that their CD isn’t going to sell well on the 1st day or week.

  8. Jerseline says:

The latest list has pink going up to #92, Josh Groban at #1, Beatles still at #2, and Britney can breathe easier as she takes the #4 slot right now. as the date gets closer, they may go up more

  9. FaustoAguilera says:

Ok this is! This has NOTHING to do with the actual sales of the album. It’s just one frickin’ site where old book reading freaks buy stuff. Get real Britney is going to NUMBER ONE! WHOO HOO!

Oh please!!! The chart has NEVER the same album positions than Billboard!!!… Just a tip: most of the Amazon shoppers are adults and the real shop shoppers are teen/young people… if you see most of the albums are adult contemporary. People can’t find a “good” reason to predict Britney’s failure… lets face it, critics hate her, some people hate her but there are no pop artist as popular as her so Britney will sell more than all those “op stars”

There’s a lot of factors that go into this, so it’s hard to tell who’ll be #1. First off, fans of the Beatles are generally older and would rather pre-order than stand in line till the stores open at 12, like a lot of dedicated Britney fans. It’s just more convenient for the old geezers. ;)-Another thing, do pre-ordered sales even count for the 1st week sales? I’ve heard conflicting opinions on this one. Regardless, it shows the demand of the album, and right now, both albums are in high demand. Personally, I would love it if Britney could land at the #1 spot, since she will continue her record of debuting at #1 and it will keep the naysayers off her back…at least for a little while. However, I have a feeling this album will be really successful (based on the clips I’ve heard, as well as her loyal fan base) so as long as it sells and Britney is able to continue to make kick ass records, I’m happy. And hey, look at it this way, she’ll only be 2nd to The Beatles!
