The Britney Spears Foundation Doles Out $30,000

The Times-Picayune reports The Britney Spears Foundation, established to support programs that nurture creativity in young children, awarded $30,000 to the Arts Council of New Orleans, which will allocate the gift locally to three organizations selected by the foundation. The charities selected were NORD/NOBA Center for Dance, the Arts in Education Program of the New Orleans public schools, and New Orleans Video Access Center Teen Video Workshop.
