Daily Mail reporter Jenni Murray came away disappointed after her interview with Britney Spears. Asked about the negative influence some parents think she has on their daughters, Spears responded, “The reason everyone talks about the younger fans is that the parents are concerned and really they shouldn’t be concerned, because I think, like, they should trust their kids. I think it’s a beautiful thing to be able to watch your kids play around and not take it so seriously. It’s just a performance. It’s not that deep.”

I have to agree with the interviewer. First off, she should have at least stood up and shook the woman’s hand. Most stars when asked about something that is a no-no can at least articulate a little answer, a least a “no comment”.
She was asked not ask about those questions and she still went ahead.. so I can’t blame her people to stop the interview.
If this was Christina’s interview she would say “Well you know screw the kids because you know like I don’t really give a crap yo! *grabs crotch* I’m like you know ghetto fabulous and you know I really shouldn’t be a role model. I’m an artist not a role model. *adjusts assless chaps* If you don’t like what I do don’t look at me yo”
Yes, even so she should have at least been a bit more nice to the woman interviewing her, maybe add a bit of common courtesy.
Why do people always have to turn a Britney article into a Christina debate/comparison (vice-versa). Grow Up..they are two totally different people.
I don’t think its coincidence that practically every interviewer of the last three months has said nothing but negative things about Britney and her people. she’s an arrogant, egotistical, DUMB, immature, untalented, sheltered, spoiled little brat. she makes that clear in every interview. like.
I don’t get why she would shrug off questions about the 3 main things that are always going to be asked of her. Justin, Virginity, and role model. She should just have her PR people make her memorize a script to put everything at rest, like she always does, because you can so tell she is well scripted. As for not standing up to greet the interviewer, that’s rude. Britney’s people need to stop making her seem like she’s some Goddess and is so OMG because she’s not, and I feel sorry for Britney cause I think she finally realized she got into something that she can’t get out of because you can tell she does not look happy.
If she doesn’t start respecting her interviewers, she’s gonna go down even faster than she already is! She’s walking a fine line there, and like I’ve said before, the media can either make or break you, and they are on the verge of TOTALLY ruining her!
I can’t believe she is so air-headed. Parent aren’t worried about their kids behavior. They are worried about their thirteen year old going out in public in those outfits. Kids don’t grasp that BS has body guards to stop the slim she comes across. I’ve met two girls who found out the hard way, if the clothes and body language say yes, slim doesn’t listen to the word NO.
You would think a interviewer would think of something new to ask. I no, if I got asked the same dam questions every time I would get sick of it to. You no these people read other interviews she’s done ,so stop asking the same damn questions people.
