Roger Friedman of Foxnews.com talked to The Emotions sisters Wanda and Sheila Hutchinson about how their group’s biggest hit, “Best of My Love” was taken by Mariah Carey in her 1991 hit “Emotions.” The song’s writer Maurice White was paid in a lawsuit settlement for Carey’s lifting of the song word for word, prompting Sheila to say, “It was at Sony, so they already had the tracks. But it did generate interest in us again.”
