The much talked about story of Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC blowing big cash in Las Vegas recently actually had the entire group, minus Joey Fatone who flew home to Orlando to be with his child, partying the night away. After blowing $200,000 an insider reportedly said, “Justin was behaving like a man possessed. Smash Mouth Opener Made *NSYNC Show Seem Uneven
April 3, 2002 – John Sinkevics of The Grand Rapids Press was at Tuesday’s *NSYNC concert at the Van Andel Arena where 10,000 fans cheered on the group. As for the fun-rockers from Smash Mouth and the guitar-playing Tony Lucca opening for *NSYNC, Sinkevics said, “It made Tuesday’s show seem a bit uneven. Because as much as *NSYNC tried to prove it could change things up and get small and intimate with its music, it couldn’t abandon the candy coating and chocolate frosting that made it so sweet and so big to begin with.”
*NSYNC Doesn’t Try To Outdo Themselves On Each Video
April 3, 2002 – JC Chasez of *NSYNC spoke with 93.1 WDRQ in Detroit yesterday and was asked about the creative process of the group’s videos. JC revealed, “We don’t ever try and out-do a video cause we all feel there good for what they are. Each video served it’s purpose and we’re not trying to out-do the last one. We play justice to the song, really. In essence that’s really going to light the song. That’s what its really about. We don’t try and out-do it. Its not like if we blew something up in this video were gonna have to blow something up twice as big in the next video. We don’t do that, we but together a video that suits the song.”
