Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh is weighing in on the MTV Video Music Awards kiss between Madonna and younger peers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. He says on his official website, “We had Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera open-mouth kissing Madonna. Imagine you are a militant Islamist, imagine that you are Al-Qaeda. One of the theories that has been bandied about by some to explain why we are targeted by these terrorists is our decadence, correct? They don’t like our culture, and they especially don’t like the exportation of our culture. Do you think it’s possible that this kind of thing could further fuel the fires of hatred that the militant Islamists have for us? I’m just posing a question.”

If he actually took a break from his naval gazing at American culture to investigate what happens elsewhere he would notice that American censorship and media expressions of sexuality are really uptight compared to most other 1st Word nations.
