FilmForce profiled the talk that Jessica Simpson has been tapped to star in a Marvel Studios movie due for release sometime next year. With many speculating she’d star in ‘Fantastic Four’ as Susan Storm, a.k.a. The Invisible Woman, but producer Ralph Winter advised The Comics Continuum yesterday that ‘Fantastic Four’ still lacks a director, a script and any officially announced cast members. Read more.

She should go into film, her singing career isn’t moving that fast even though she has a spectacular voice. Jess needs to hook up with some better producers. I see her staring in horror movies. She would have been perfect for Freddy vs Jason. Going into movies worked for Mandy Moore after her records didn’t sell.
Don’t agree, even thou she looks like Sue Storm from the Fantastic Four, the girl is down-right ditzy. After 15 minutes of her show, I was ready to vomit. She’s a barbie with no brains or common sense. Boring and very predictable. Yes she has a strong voice, but with no feeling for dept, she’s just another set of tits, and hair.
Ok she’s ditzy, that doesn’t mean she can’t be a decent actress. Have you ever seen an interview with J.Lo. You don’t get much dumber than that and she has turned out some good performances, nothing recently.
Ok, you are funny. You are right, I don’t get that J Lo is dumb, I get that J Lo is trying to give this imagine of the All American Latin Girl Who Made Good. I’m not buying…Jessica Simpson is an entirely different thing all together. I don’t get the Ditzy Blonde thing.
Have any of you seen Jessica act? She sings with more enthusiasm. She can’t sing, she certainly can’t dance, and well acting goes into that category if you can’t do 2 of the three you can’t do any of them. Mandy Moore can act, her movie, A Walk to Remember grossed the most money of any pop singer turn actor movie made.
I think seeing Jessica Simpson in a movie will be kinda interesting. I hope that she will portray a better woman character instead of playing a character like the dumb, desperate, and ditzy “all tits and blonde hair” character that she played in the 70′s show. Now that was annoying, and in my opinion, just degrading.
Yes you do. Cameron Diaz is about as ditzy as they come. She lucked out in a couple of ditzy blond types in a couple of movies and look where she is. She could NEVER be a Nicole Kidman, or a Renee Zellwegger(?) or even a Drew Barrymore. So if Cameron can do it then Jessica Simpson can surely do it. If you watch Cameron Diaz you very quickly learn that you don’t need any brains to make the money. You just need to be able to be as stupid as you can and she does THAT very, very well.
