The Used Try Not To Talk About Bert’s Girlfriend

Jayson Whitehead of Las Vegas Weekly spoke with the guys from The Used, who say they’ve tried to play frontman Bert McCracken’s new status as Kelly Osbourne’s boyfriend down. “We try to not talk about it,” says Jeph Howard, The Used’s bassist. “We try to get it away from us as much as possible because we don’t want to be known for that.” Howard is quick to qualify his response, though. “Kelly’s one of the sweetest girls I’ve met in a long time, like, amazing,” he says. “But it means nothing to our band. Like I’ve got a girlfriend. It means nothing to our music and to our band. We try to keep them apart.”
