MTV’s John Norris and Gideon Yago both helped ‘Extra’ look in on the year in music. John Norris says, “The big question was which boy band member going solo was going to win the sweepstakes?” Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter gave it a shot. So did *NSYNC’s Justin Timberlake. Norris says, “There is no denying that Justin Timberlake’s got the star quality.”
