This Acorn Fell Far From The Family Tree

Michael D. Clark of the Houston Chronicle reviewed Kelly Osbourne’s debut album ‘Shut Up’ and basically hated it. Clark writes, “Song construction is the major problem of ‘Shut Up.’ Osbourne idolizes Blondie and Joan Jett, but her songwriting team – Thomas R. Yezzi, Kara Dioguardi and producer Ric Wake – is accustomed to working with the more docile Celine Dion and Enrique Iglesias. The result is an album stiffer than Ozzy shuffling off to find the family dog.”
