Lisa Marie Presley tells the Boston Globe the idea of facing the comparisons of her father Elvis prevented her from pursuing a career in music before. “I started writing, instinctively, when I was 21, to sort of get myself through some tough stuff,” Presley says. “But I’d been through enough in my life without asking for that kind of scrutiny.” Presley’s ‘To Whom It May Concern’ is released today.
