Memphis announced Wednesday (June 16) that *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake will participate in the celebration surrounding the 50th Anniversary of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The daylong commemoration will take place at Sun Studio in Memphis on July 5, 2004 — 50 years to the day when Elvis recorded ‘That’s All Right’, the song that is considered the big bang of rock ‘n’ roll. “We are thrilled that Justin is coming home to join us as we celebrate this musical milestone,” said Kevin Kane, President of the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau. “He is already a world-renowned artist, and his work continues to extend Memphis’ musical influence to the next generation.”
