Tony Danza Furious With CNN’s Paris Hilton Coverage

Tony Danza spoke with The Washington Post about his thoughts on Paris Hilton appearing for the hour on ‘Larry King Live’ and the build-up to the heiress’ first post jail interview. “I was in an airport [last Wednesday] when that whole Paris Hilton interview was going down,” the actor and former talk show host said. “I was watching ‘The Situation Room’ and they were talking about this interview that hadn’t happened yet and then counting down to it. I’ll never watch CNN again. I mean it. I think something’s happened to news and entertainment. News has become entertainment. They don’t give you what you need, they give you what you want…” In fairness to CNN, of the three cable news networks, it had mentioned “Paris Hilton” the fewest number of times during the time of her incarceration.
